Welcome to our first blog post of 2017 – only a week or so behind schedule!
That’s our New Year’s Resolution ruined already.
We hope that all of you who ordered from us for the holidays enjoyed your parsnips and brussels etc! We are very pleased to have received lots of positive feedback about our Christmas Boxes.
(If you would like to give us any feedback about your order, you can leave us reviews on Facebook or Google. Any time you could take to do this would be much appreciated – please be kind!)
We hope you all enjoyed the Christmas break as much as we did. After a busy 2016, as we touched on in the first edition of this blog, we were grateful for the time off, but now it is back to work.
And it has already been a promising start to the year. We have welcomed a series of new customers, many on box subscriptions, which shows they have a commitment to maintaining their 2017 health kick!
All customers will hopefully soon have a greater variety of produce to choose from. We were thrilled to add six great local companies to our Farm Shop before Christmas, and we held some really positive meetings last week about adding a local fish supplier and a supplier of jams and chutneys.
Jams and chutneys could be available within a fortnight. Excitingly, a range of fresh fish could be online not long after. We will keep you updated on this in our blog and in our email newsletters.
Another promising partnership begins this week as food blogger Warren Nash (above) publishes his first recipe video using Kerry’s Fresh produce. Look out for Warren’s videos on our social media pages.
Warren is a Nottingham-based blogger, further strengthening our ethos about local businesses and people working together. We will continue to explore options to work with companies in and around Nottinghamshire so that we can offer as much range of produce to all of our customers.
In that vein, a thank-you to Nottingham Trent University for hosting us at their Health & Wellbeing Week last week. There was a lot of interest in our online service from both students and staff.
NTU, Warren Nash, soon-to-be revealed jam and fish suppliers; a week of promising partnerships…
