Pure water – all impurities have been removed prior to use in the distillation and dilution
stages so that only pure water is used in the production of our gin. This means that the
taste of our gin is solely derived from the ingredients used and not from any minerals or
impurities in the water. This also allows us to maintain product consistency at the high
level we constantly strive to attain.

Our alcohol is produced from sugar beet – it’s more expensive than alcohol derived from
grain but arguably it is of a far better purity. The sugar beet used for our alcohol is sourced
only from East Anglian growers that use sustainable agricultural methods. This has far less
environmental impact that using sugar beet imported from around the world. In addition,
beets produce twice as much ethanol per acre as corn, for example, and require about 40
percent less water per gallon of alcohol produced, making it more environmentally
friendly.
